Broadway stars are taking center stage this weekend.

The 2025 Tony Awards will broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall on Sunday night, with Tony winner Cynthia Erivo presiding as host.

On the heels of a buzzy — and especially A-list-packed — Broadway season, we’re in for a must-see night. Read on for everything you need to know to watch from home (for far less than the cost of a play ticket, at that).

When are the 2025 Tony Awards?

The three-hour awards ceremony airs live on CBS on June 8, 2025 at 8 p.m. ET./5 p.m. PT.

How to stream the 2025 Tony Awards

No cable? No problem. Cord-cutters can catch the full show on live TV streaming services like DirecTV Stream — which offers a five-day free trial for new subscribers — and Hulu+ Live TV.

Since the Tonys is airing on CBS this year, Paramount+ subscribers can also watch the ceremony both live and on-demand.

Nine years after taking home her first Tony for her role as Celie in “The Color Purple,” Cynthia Erivo is back hosting Broadway’s biggest night.

“Your job is to make sure everyone has a good night … that is, for me, fun — hard work, but I really enjoy it,” she recently said on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” explaining that, for her, being nominated is more nerve-wracking than hosting.

As for who she’d like to see take home the night’s top prizes? “Everyone,” she told Colbert.

Who is nominated at the 2025 Tony Awards?

George Clooney

“Buena Vista Social Club,” “Death Becomes Her” and “Maybe Happy Ending,” lead this year’s nominations with 10 each, closely followed by “Dead Outlaw,” “John Proctor Is the Villain,” “Sunset Boulevard” and “The Hills of California,” with seven nods apiece.

Following a particularly star-studded season, A-listers like George Clooney (for the play “Good Night, and Good Luck”), Cole Escola (for “Oh, Mary!”), Sarah Snook (for “The Picture of Dorian Gray”) and Sadie Sink (for “John Proctor is a Villain”) are also among the nominees. Audra McDonald also made history this year, becoming the most Tony-nominated star of all time. (Her nod for her role in the 2025 “Gypsy” revival brought her up to 11.)

Who is performing at the 2025 Tony Awards?

Nicole Scherzinger

The ceremony will feature performances from the casts of all the best musical nominees — “Buena Vista Social Club,” “Dead Outlaw,” “Death Becomes Her,” “Maybe Happy Ending,” and “Operation Mincemeat” —  and best revival of a musical nominees, “Floyd Collins,” “Gypsy,” “Pirates!,” “The Penzance Musical” and “Sunset Boulevard.”

In addition, the casts of “Real Women Have Curves” and “Just in Time” will take the stage.

Plus, the original cast of “Hamilton” will reunite for a special performance to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Tony-winning musical.
