Summary

  • Salehe Bembury has revealed Tyrese Haliburton’s first signature shoe, the PUMA Hali 1
  • Designed by Bembury, it will be worn by Haliburton throughout the NBA Finals
  • Previewed in this “Hibiscus” colorway, it will be debuting on shelves this September

The stage is set for the NBA Finals. The Oklahoma City Thunder, led by this season’s MVP, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, have been the team to beat all postseason and are just four wins away from what has felt like destiny. However, Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers have proven time and again that they should not be underestimated.

In anticipation of game one tonight, Salehe Bembury has unveiled Haliburton’s first signature shoe with PUMA, the PUMA Hali 1. The Hali 1 is a full-circle moment for Bembury, having grown a love for sneakers, and subsequently, design, all thanks to basketball. Our limited preview of the sneaker sees it feature a textile upper with small circles repeated throughout. Based on the photos that emphasize the medial, we see a wavy overlay that stretches outwards from the large leaping PUMA logo at the heel. Haliburton’s recently-revealed logo is also present at the tongue while the sole unit features a textured midsole, semi-translucent outsole with an “H” visible, and Nitro cushioning. The reveal colorway for the silhouette is this “Hibiscus” look that sees various pinks adorn the model, ensuring it will catch the eyes of millions when Haliburton takes the court during the NBA Finals.

Look out for Haliburton to sport the PUMA Hali 1 throughout the NBA Finals, starting with tonight’s game in Oklahoma City. Stay tuned for more updates regarding the new model as it is currently scheduled to debut on retail shelves this September.
