Pixels is bringing its new multi-game $PIXEL staking system to Telegram via a partnership with Sleepagotchi, which has more than two million registered users on Telegram.
Sleepagotchi is a mobile app that combines gamification and social features to help users build healthier sleep habits, and it has become one of Telegram’s top 20 grossing games. This marks the expansion of $PIXEL staking into a new distribution channel and also introduces staking to a completely new genre — casual wellness games.
The partnership makes $PIXEL usable in Sleepagotchi LITE as a payment method and retention mechanic, reaching a highly active Telegram gaming audience (nearly 100,000 WAU).
Sleepagotchi rewards users for consistent sleep goals with digital collectibles. The current Sleepagotchi LITE experience, which has nearly 100,000 weekly active users, introduces a casual, battle card-style game that allows users to earn points throughout the day, with no sleep tracking required.
Sleepagotchi LITE offers a light, social experience focused on collecting character cards, completing missions, and teaming up with friends in clans. The full Sleepagotchi experience is set to launch worldwide in 2025 on iOS and Android.
Through this partnership, Sleepagotchi will incorporate $PIXEL into its user acquisition and retention strategies. Initially, $PIXEL will be introduced within the web version of Sleepagotchi LITE as a payment method. Players will be able to purchase in-game items using $PIXEL, including limited-time discount windows. $PIXEL will also be used as a strategic reward to increase engagement and long-term retention.

Last month, Pixels introduced multi-game $PIXEL staking, a system that allows players to support their favorite games, earn rewards based on the success of those games, and actively participate in shaping the future of the ecosystem.
Players can stake their $PIXEL tokens directly into titles such as Core Pixels, Forgotten Runiverse, and Pixel Dungeons, with each game offering unique reward mechanisms and governance influence. In just the first month, over 88 million $PIXEL tokens have been staked by more than 4,900 players, with deposits outpacing withdrawals in the game, showing strong community confidence and engagement.
Players will be able to stake $PIXEL to Sleepagotchi by June 8, 2025.
