The Los Angeles Police Department is looking for the driver of a dark-colored SUV that careened into parked cars and pedestrians in Studio City Sunday night, leaving one woman severely hurt.

At about 11:15 p.m. that night, a dark-colored SUV headed south on Laurel Canyon Boulevard hit two vehicles parked on the street near the intersection with Moorpark Street, police said in a news release.

After striking those two vehicles and two pedestrians, the driver of the SUV continued south on Laurel Canyon Boulevard without stopping to help, police said.

Left in the aftermath was a 52-year-old woman who was severely injured and taken by ambulance to a local hospital. The other pedestrian refused further treatment at the scene.

Police are looking for the SUV, which could possibly be blue or dark blue and has visible damage to its front-right area.

A reward of up to $25,000 is available for information leading to the driver.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Ramirez at 818-644-8025.

During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (877-527-3247).

To report information anonymously, call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477) or visit lacrimestoppers.org.
