Jessica Simpson attended the annual We Matter x Limitless mental health dinner in West Hollywood on Saturday night, rocking a silky black minidress and coordinating feather jacket for the charity event.
The “Take My Breath Away” singer, 44, wowed in a short slip with lace straps, covering up with the fluffy topper.
Simpson accessorized her night-out look with a pair of sky-high patent leather boots that were, well, perhaps not made for walking — but certainly leveled up her getup.
The fashion designer incorporated chunky rings and a hand chain into the look, adding a bit of edge.
She wore her newly darkened blond hair in loose waves and went with a glowy, sultry makeup look.
Simpson was pictured hugging the host of the evening, socialite Vas J Morgan.
According to Morgan’s latest Instagram post, the charity event, which was in partnership with Guess, helped raise funds for free mental health support to marginalized communities.
Celebrities like Anya Taylor-Joy, Rita Ora, Chris Rock and Jodie Turner-Smith — as well as Simpson’s brother-in-law Evan Ross — also made an appearance at the dinner.
A newly single Simpson, who split from husband Eric Johnson in January, is staging her musical comeback. Last month, Simpson performed during the Season 23 finale of “American Idol,” marking her first television singing gig in 15 years.
After getting slammed for the “train wreck” performance, Simpson admitted to having stage fright.
“Oh, my God, I was dying,” Simpson confessed to “Extra” after the show. “I can’t even tell you how long it’s been since I’ve been that nervous.” She even admitted to putting hairspray on her feet to keep the sweat at bay.
We can’t wait to see more of Simpson — on and off the stage.
