Golf is not easy for anyone, but Jordan Spieth seems to like to make it even harder.
To start his Sunday round for The Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village, he hit a terrible tee shot on the par 4 1st that went right of the fairway and into the deep rough.
On his second shot, disaster almost happened.
Fans were lined up to his right, but a little further down, there was a patch of onlookers in a precarious spot.
They were slightly within the danger zone and quickly learned that even some of the best players in the world can hit questionable shots.
Spieth hit his shot, and it ended up being a line drive right toward that group of fans. It almost hit one of them, but it sailed inches above their heads.
Thankfully, it did not hit any of them, but it was still too close for comfort.

The former Texas Longhorn’s shenanigans did not stop there. He may have had two wild shots to start the day, but on his third shot, Spieth hit it to 22 feet and had a lengthy par putt on his hands.
In typical Spieth fashion, he sank the par putt and avoided starting his round with a square on the card.
Those fans likely learned a hard lesson about where to stand at a golf tournament.
PGA Tour players are the best in the world, but they can still hit wild shots occasionally, especially when the rough is deep like it is at Murifield Village.
