A Los Angeles hospital is asking for the public’s help in identifying a patient who arrived there early Friday morning after he was found unresponsive on the street.
The unidentified man was brought to California Hospital Medical Center in downtown L.A. around 1:15 a.m., after he was found near the intersection of West 7th and Alvarado streets in the Westlake District.
Due to patient confidentiality laws, the hospital did not disclose his exact condition, but photos shared with KTLA show the unidentified man hooked up to a breathing apparatus, wearing a neck brace and having a bandage on his head.
The hospital, which is part of Dignity Health, asked for the public’s help in identifying him as he has no documentation or other evidence of his identity.
He’s described as a white man, approximately 55 years old, with gray hair and brown eyes. He weighs about 125 pounds and stands around 5 feet 11 inches.
He also has “many” tattoos across his body, including some notable ones that may aid in his identification. The word ‘OMERTA’ is tattooed on his neck, the letters ‘CMF’ on his right chest, a skull and an intricate design on the left part of his torso, among others.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Dignity Health officials at California Hospital by calling 213-266-1122 or 213-742-5500.
