While the final score of Game 4 was 4-1 in favor of the Oilers, it was a much more closely contested match than the previous Edmonton wins.
Leon Draisaitl got the scoring going in the first period with a power-play goal (his 7th of the playoffs), and after an answer from Dallas in the second period, they took a 2-1 lead on a power-play goal by Corey Perry (his 6th of the playoffs).
The final two goals came with an empty net, with Kasperi Kapanen and Adam Henrique closing the door on Dallas.
The Stars’ offensive woes continued in Game 4, with a second-period goal by Jason Robertson being their only score. Their three-game total of two goals represents the worst offensive stretch of the season.
After having just nine games in the regular season with one goal or less (and just one shutout), Dallas has now had seven such occurrences in the playoffs, including four shutouts.
This is a great Stanley Cup Playoffs matchup that you do not want to miss; tune into Fubo to catch all the action.
