  • G-SHOCK has released the MRGBF1000 “Goliath Frogman” MR-G watch
  • It features a titanium build with a colorway that’s inspired by the Conraua goliath, the world’s largest frog
  • The timepiece boasts ISO 200-meter water resistance, complete with advanced dive functionalities

G-SHOCK has unveiled the MRGBF1000, a premium, full-metal G-SHOCK MR-G timepiece designed for the sea. This titanium armor-clad watch joins the FROGMAN family, a diver watch series known for its ISO 200-meter water resistance. Nicknamed “Goliath Frogman,” this model draws inspiration from the Conraua goliath, the world’s largest frog. It translates the amphibian’s bold stature and natural hues into a striking design.

The exterior of this timepiece showcases a complex asymmetrical design, meticulously crafted from individually finished and polished titanium components. This intricate construction includes an O-ring waterproof seal, ensuring outstanding FROGMAN water resistance, along with special buffers that reinforce its shock-resistant structure.

The band is made from Dura Soft, a durable and comfortable fluoro rubber, sporting a vibrant green color that takes cues from the green Goliath frog. Meanwhile, striking orange accents on the seconds and indicator hands complete a design engineered to ignite the wearer’s inner explorer.

Beyond its specialized diving features, the MRGBF1000 incorporates the core functionalities expected from an MR-G timepiece, including impressive shock resistance and Tough Solar power. The watch also features a Double LED (Super Illuminator) light, ensuring readability in dark conditions as well as the ability to automatically adjust the time based on the wearer’s location, making it ideal for international travel.

Priced at $4,900 USD, the MRGBF1000 “Goliath Frogman” watch is available to purchase via G-SHOCK.
