Update: Nike’s celebration of 30 years of the Air Max 95 continues this week with another throwback look. Not only does it pay homage to its original shape with the “Big Bubble” structure, its “Bright Mandarin” color scheme revisits a pair from 2011. The gray colorway, which we described previously below, carries a splash of orange. Release is set for June 6 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $190 USD.
Original Story: For the 30th anniversary of the iconic Nike Air Max 95, the Swoosh is bringing back the “Bright Mandarin” colorway that was originally released in 2011. Honoring designer Sergio Lozano’s legacy, the “Bright Mandarin” brings on a familiar gradient upper that starts with the white mesh upper before it shifts to a dark grey suede overlay that mimics the structure of the human anatomy. The orange accents hit the eyelets, tongue label and mini Swoosh branding. The retro sneaker features 3M reflective details as well as Air units in the striking hue. Look out for the pair arriving this summer.
