EXCLUSIVE: Matt Rosen has joined the management and production firm Navigation Media Group as a Literary Manager.
Rosen comes to the company from Rain, where he worked with up-and-coming screenwriters and filmmakers, setting up projects with a number of producers. His clients include Stephen Shields (Abigail), E.T. Feigenbaum (Blink Twice), Julia Yorks (1UP), Anni Weisband, Dana Boulos, and Filipe Coutinho.
Notably, in just the past four years, Rosen has represented clients with 15 screenplays on the prestigious Black List, an annual compilation of Hollywood’s most-liked unproduced screenplays. He also saw Sony/Escape Artists preemptively acquire his client Chris Grillot’s grounded sci-fi short story Bliss for development as a feature in 2023. A longtime cinephile, who has been working as a rep for five years, he began his career at UTA.
In a statement to Deadline, Rosen said, “I am so grateful for the opportunity to join the Navigation team and represent extraordinary creative talent.
