The former NBA legend can hardly go anywhere without people recognizing him or stopping him to ask for a photo. It’s part of the territory that comes from being a famous athlete, especially one on Jordan’s level.
But recently, the former NBA star was spotted in Venice, Italy, just minding his own business. A family was on vacation and casually noticed that the person sitting at a table behind them looked a lot like Jordan.
The daughter in the group became the first to notice the man sitting behind them and started taking photos. The parents were completely unaware of who was behind them until the daughter showed them the photos.
It did turn out to be Jordan, and you can see the moment that they realize who he is. Jordan was simply eating a meal and smoking what looked like a cigar.
According to the report on this, the NBA legend spent a few hours at the restaurant enjoying the peace of not being noticed. But before he left, he did eventually make his way to the table of the family, telling jokes and giving them handshakes.

This likely was an exciting moment for the family, as getting to meet Jordan could be a fun moment. But it was nice of the family to not bother him while he was eating, potentially sparking his decision to come over and say hello.

This entire situation is interesting due to the level of star that Jordan is. But the respect shown by both sides is great to see.
Jordan won six championships, going 6-0 in the NBA Finals. The Chicago Bulls star was also a 14-time All-Star, an 11-time All-NBA member, a five-time MVP, and he won the scoring title 10 times.
