The New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers are getting set for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Pacers were able to grab the first two games of the series on the road, now holding a 2-0 series lead.

The scene will now shift over to Indiana for Games 3 and 4, as both sides prepare for the contest. Entering the game, both teams have realized injury reports, with each one of them being fully clean.

The only player listed on either injury report is Pacers center Isaiah Jackson, but he has been out for the season. Having both teams enter this crucial game healthy could result in some strong competition on the floor.

The Knicks will be looking for some good fortune after dropping the first two games of this series. New York hasn’t been able to keep up with the Pacers down the stretch of games, and it has them sitting in a tough spot.

As the team gets ready for Game 3, New York is considering a big change to the starting lineup. The Knicks’ starters have a negative rating throughout the postseason, but everything has escalated during this series with Indiana.

Knicks guard Josh Hart spoke about the likely decision and only wants to do what is best for the team.

“I can’t sit here and preach about sacrifice and getting out of our own personal agendas and all that and then, a decision like that is made, then be mad at it and not want to sacrifice and not want to do that. That’s not the kind of person that I am.”

If the Knicks can’t win Game 3, the series would be essentially over. No team in NBA history has ever come back from a 3-0 series hole, so it is desperation time for New York.

The Pacers will be looking to take a commanding lead in the series, and they feel very confident about going home. Indiana has been one of the better teams at home this year, and they will look to potentially close things out in front of their home fans.

Either way, we should be in for another exciting game between the two sides. Game 3 between Indiana and New York is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday.
