The couple did buy a house together, but it seemed to be a very quick ending for them. Well, Patrick has now revealed more details about the entire situation, slamming the current NFL quarterback.
Patrick spoke with former ESPN reporter Sage Steele, diving into the toxic nature of the entire relationship. The former driver accused Rodgers of cultivating an “emotionally abusive” relationship with her.
“Everything was torn to bits. He leaves a trail of blood,” she added. “I don’t think I’m saying too much earth-shattering stuff – there’s been enough out there.”
But Patrick also said that the way everything ended between the two sides left her feeling completely empty.
“It was sudden. It felt like it was my life,” she said.
“So when you live with somebody, it’s your whole life… and because the nature of the relationship was emotionally abusive, so that wore me down to nothing.”
Since the two have broken up, Rodgers has spoken kindly about Patrick. The current free agent claimed that the relationship was good for him and that the two people learned about different things together.
They both have dated other people since the breakup, but this clearly left a mark on Patrick. Patrick also hinted at Rodgers being difficult to deal with, something that has been a common thought around NFL circles.
