Nicola Peltz’s billionaire parents, Nelson and Claudia, are being sued by former housekeeper Mileydis Morejon for $75,000 after she claims she was attacked by their “vicious” pit bull.
According to documents obtained by Page Six, Morejon claimed the “untrained” family dog Houdini attacked her multiple times in the family’s $100 million Palm Beach, Fla., mansion in 2023.
In one alleged incident, per the docs, Morejon claimed the animal “ripped” her clothing in an attempted attack.
In another, she claimed she “fell to the ground attempting to escape” the canine after he allegedly “lunged at and attempted to attack the Plaintiff,” according to the lawsuit.
Morejon described another alleged encounter in the documents, in which she attempted to defend herself from Houdini with a vacuum.
Morejon described the animal as having a “vicious nature” and “vicious disposition,” further claiming that Houdini had “a propensity to attack/or attempt attacks which was known or should have been known by defendants.”
She added in the docs that the alleged attacks occurred “without any provocation, suddenly and without warning.”
Morejon claims in the docs as a direct result of the alleged attacks and owner “negligence,” she suffered “physical and mental pain and suffering, disability, physical impairment, disfigurement,” and “mental anguish,” as well as loss of earnings and a loss of “capacity for the enjoyment of life.”
The former employee of Nelson Peltz, 82, and his wife, former model Claudia, 70, also cited hospital and medical bills as a result of her alleged injuries.
Morejon is seeking damages in excess of $75,000 in the lawsuit, which was filed in December in Palm Beach.
She cited a Florida statute stating dog owners “shall be liable for any damage done by their dogs to a person.”
The longtime couple — who became Brooklyn Beckham’s in-laws in 2022 when he married their daughter Nicola — denied negligence in the matter.
They wrote in a response, filed in May 2025, that it’s “undisputed” that Morejon “did not suffer from a dog bite” and did not have any physical contact from Houdini during the alleged incidents, and therefore should “not be entitled to recover compensation” over the matter.
Nelson claimed Morejon had “interacted” with, “routinely encountered,” and “cleaned up after” the pet as housekeeper on the estate, and therefore should have adjusted to his behavior.
Nelson, who is reportedly worth over a billion dollars, previously filed a lawsuit against wedding planners Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba of Miami event planning firm Plan Design Events (PDE) over a $159,000 deposit for Nicola’s lavish nuptials to Beckham.
The former Wendy’s chairman claimed the wedding planners, whom he fired nine days into their job on the $3 million dollar wedding at their estate, offered “no services of value” and portrayed Nicola, 30, in an “extremely negative light.” The lawsuit and countersuit were both settled in November 2023.
Meanwhile, Nicola, who has been embroiled in a feud with in-laws David and Victoria Beckham, showcased the bulky dog in an April 2023 Instagram post, dubbing him “Houdini Peltz.”
