German interior minister meets Danish integration minister
is meeting the Danish minister of immigration and integration, Kaare Dybvad Bek, in Berlin.
Their talks will focus on migration policy at the national and European level, according to the Interior Ministry.

Merz, Pistorius visit Lithuania to mark permanent troop deployment

The new heavy combat unit, the 45th tank brigade, is also known as the “Lithuania Brigade.”
It will consist of around 4,800 troops and 200 civilian Bundeswehr employees.
The brigade will be gradually deployed over the coming years and is expected to reach full operational capability by 2027.

The decision to form the brigade came in response to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
The deployment is aimed at deterring potential Russian aggression towards Lithuania and fellow Baltic countries Estonia and Latvia.
