Travis Kelce is doubling down on his dad joke.
Nearly one week after making 15 and the Mahomies Vegas Golf Classic Gala attendees laugh by saying he already had the autographed Taylor Swift guitar up for auction, the athlete addressed the moment on his podcast.
Jason Kelce played the viral X video of Travis, 35, putting down his paddle and taking a seat on the latest “New Heights” episode.
“There’s this clip of you helping a good cause by running up an auction price for a signed guitar,” Jason told listeners Wednesday.
Travis denied his brother’s claim, insisting, “No, I put my paddle up because I wanted it and then I realized, ‘Oh, I already have it. Oh, that was the guitar I have.’”
Jason expressed doubt, asking, “You realized it afterwards?”
The Kansas City Chiefs player explained that he “had to get a good look at it,” adding, “You don’t want to buy the same guitar twice.”
Jason, 37, laughed and called his brother’s quip “well done.”
Travis went on to praise Patrick Mahomes’ annual charity event in Las Vegas, calling it “a f–king blast.”
“It’s just gotten better and better,” the tight end gushed. “[They] keep raising more and more money every single year for the underserved communities in Kansas City.”
Swift, 35, was notably absent from the fundraiser despite attending last year.
The couple acted “affectionate” and showed “lots of” PDA during the April 2024 auction, according to an eyewitness.
This year, however, Swift has primarily remained out of the public eye since wrapping her record-breaking Eras Tour.
Travis, who is in his NFL offseason after a blowout Super Bowl loss, has been repeatedly spotted solo as he golfs in Sin City, models in Manhattan and more.
He and Swift skipped out on the Met Gala earlier this month.
As the Grammy winner remains of the spotlight, headlines are swirling about her alleged friendship woes with Blake Lively.
Swift was dragged into her longtime pal’s legal war with her “It Ends With Us” co-star Justin Baldoni in January — and recently got subpoenaed — leaving her feeling “used.”
But we heard in April that the duo are on “good terms” following a “heartfelt” apology from the “Gossip Girl” alum.
