Summary

  • Universal Pictures drops the final trailer for Jurassic World Rebirth
  • The film stars Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey and Mahershal Ali
  • Jurassic World Rebirth concludes the Jurassic World trilogy and premieres in theaters on July 2, 2025

Universal Pictures has unleashed the second and final trailer for the highly anticipated new installment in the Jurassic Park franchise, officially titled Jurassic World Rebirth. The action-packed trailer issues in a new era, as this summer, audiences see the Jurassic World trilogy come to an end.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, known for Godzilla and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Jurassic World Rebirth is set five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion. The plot centers on a covert operations team, led by Scarlett Johansson‘s character, Zora Bennett, tasked with a perilous mission: to infiltrate a forbidden island in the Atlantic that was once an original research facility for Jurassic Park. Their objective is to extract DNA from the three largest remaining prehistoric species across land, sea, and air, for a groundbreaking medical breakthrough. However, things quickly go awry when their operation intersects with a civilian family, leading both groups to become stranded on the dinosaur-infested island. The trailer offers a thrilling glimpse of the new hybrid monstrosities and terrifying dinosaurs they’ll encounter, including a redesigned Spinosaurus and new mutant creatures like the “Distortus rex” and flying “Mutadons.”

The film features an all-star cast including Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey as paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis, Mahershala Ali as Duncan Kincaid (Zora’s trusted team member), and Rupert Friend as a Big Pharma representative. The film premieres in theaters on July 2.
