Two suspects were arrested after a stabbing attack left a man hospitalized in Temecula.
On March 30, Riverside County deputies responded to an assault with a deadly weapon near Old Town Front Street and 3rd Street in the popular Old Town dining district.
The victim, identified only as an adult male, had been attacked and stabbed by two men, authorities said. Arriving deputies found the victim with several stab wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he was treated and released.
The men had fled the scene before deputies arrived. Investigators later identified the suspects as ]Ivan Isayev, 32, of Murrieta and Kevin Vo, 28, of Rocklin.
Several weeks later, on May 20, Vo was arrested in the Rocklin area in Northern California by officers from the Rocklin and Roseville police departments. Vo was booked into a Placer County jail and will be extradited to Riverside County.
Isayev was arrested in Murrieta by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center.
Details on the circumstances leading up to the stabbing attack were not released. It’s unclear whether the victim and the suspects were known to each other.
Riverside authorities released Isayev’s booking photo, however, Rocklin police did not release Vo’s booking photo.
