Summary
- Tyler, the Creator has reunited with Converse for an archive-inspired footwear collection titled “1908.”
- The line debuts with two models: the Naut-1 and the Coach Jogger.
- The collection drops on June 20.
In the wake of several kaleidoscopic and much-adored GOLF le FLEUR collaborations, Tyler, the Creator and Converse are back in the studio cooking up another footwear crossover: the “1908” line, a capsule of curated archival styles inspired by Converse’s history (the brand was founded in 1908!) and imbued with Tyler’s signature whimsy.
The collection debuts with two silhouettes: the Naut-1, which was originally introduced in 1971 as a lifestyle model, and the Coach Jogger, which first met the world in 1976 as an Olympic track shoe. The former takes a spin on the classic boat shoe with a preppy finish, while the latter is galvanized by popular low-profile sneakers from the 1970s and ’80s.

The Naut-1 ($80 USD to 90 USD) and Coach Jogger ($100 USD) will be available online in a limited release on June 20. The two silhouettes will also be available for purchase in Conver’s 1908 pop-up in Los Angeles beginning June 12. Take a look at the lineup in the gallery above.
