Summary

  • Fear of God drops exclusive Malcolm X Estate capsule alongside Barriers Worldwide Partner
  • The collection blends legacy, culture and purpose, reimaging the “X” symbol through the Fear of God Lens
  • All proceeds from the collection goes to the Shabazz Foundation

Fear of God and Barriers Worldwide Partner have released an exclusive capsule benefitting the Shabazz Foundation with a collaboration with the Malcolm X Estate.

Blending legacy, culture and purpose, Fear of God and Barriers Worldwide have joined forces with the Malcolm X Estate for the capsule collection which pays homage to the “X” — the most iconic symbol in Black history. Rich in symbolism, the collection was originally debuted by Jerry Lorenzo himself as well as worn by Kyrie Irving and LeBron James. Lorenzo’s Fear of God draws directly from Malcolm X’s archives, reimagining “X” beyond just being a letter. The capsule highlighted the universal marker for resistance, empowerment and transformation through its bold storytelling.

Barriers Worldwide continues to educate the world with its mission of inspiring through design along with the capsule with Fear of God which remains a brand that has become rooted in American luxury. Its brand ethos helps to elevate the narratives of spiritual nad cultural identity. With this collection, all proceeds will be donated to the Shabazz Foundation, honoring the legacy of Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz by supporting educational and empowerment initiatives for underserved communities.

The collection is now available online in the form of tees, hoodies and more.
