The 3-year-old son of a mom-and-wife lifestyle influencer died in the hospital days after being pulled from a backyard pool last week, according to police and media reports.
Police in Chandler, Arizona, a city some 20 miles southeast of Phoenix, responded to reports of the drowning on May 12.
At the scene, officers found the unconscious child being pulled from the swimming pool and immediately began administering CPR until medical personnel arrived and rushed the boy to the hospital, NBC News reported.
The 3-year-old, identified as Trigg Kiser, is the son of lifestyle influencer Emilie Kiser who has amassed nearly 5 million followers across TikTok and Instagram. In March, she and her husband, Brady Kiser, had their second child, Theodore.
Spokesperson Sonu Wasu offered the Chandler Police Department’s deepest condolences to the Kisers “during this unimaginable time,” and said the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation and that no additional details would be released until after investigators close the case.
The 26-year-old influencer’s social media accounts have been flooded with comments since the tragic incident, though neither Emilie nor her husband have spoken publicly or released a statement.
Trigg would have turned four in July of this year, NBC News reported.
