The lobster claws are out.
Bill Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson is trying to break into tony Nantucket’s social scene and charity circuit, but sources tell Page Six, she’s being “iced out” by those loyal to the former Patriots coach’s ex, Linda Holliday.
“His ex, Linda, is working the philanthropic and social circles and she [Hudson] wants to get more involved,” a Nantucket society source told Page Six.
“She’s trying to claim her stake in the social circle. That is Linda’s thing.”
A second source said islanders are team Holliday and aren’t exactly rolling out the welcome mat for the beauty queen, who recently placed third at the Miss Maine pageant.
“People on Nantucket are pretty sophisticated. You could be sitting at Galley Beach restaurant and if [Hudson] walked in, 90% of the place would roll their eyes. No one is going to be welcoming her with open arms.
“It’s cliquey here. Very cliquey. You have the group that picks two or three charities, they’re really into that and focused.
“They’re not inviting people they don’t think are going to be a good fit for them,” the source, who is part of the Nantucket social scene alongside Holliday, said.
“People are turned off by her. She’s kind of young — who knows what happened when Linda was still [dating Belichick]. Did Jordan come into the picture?”
Hudson, who is 49 years younger than 73-year-old Belichick met him on a flight from Boston to Florida in 2021, according to TMZ, which obtained a photo of their first encounter, and described Belichick as being “clearly giddy.”
Belichick was said to be so smitten with the then-student-athlete’s philosophy project, he signed his autograph in her “Deductive Logic” textbook.
“Jordon, Thanks for giving me a course on logic! Safe travels!” Belichick wrote, adding the date of Feb. 11, 2021 — which is while he was dating TV presenter Holliday.
Belichick and Holliday, 61, called it quits in September 2023 after 16 yeras together. It’s unclear why the couple parted ways, but a report by People from 2023 claimed the two “have issues to clear up that come from a long relationship as well as her role in his professional life.”
Page Six has reached out to Holliday, Hudson and Belichick for comment.
At the end of April Belichick gave an awkward interview to CBS which featured Hudson interrupting and cutting him off, saying “he’s not talking about this,” when asked a simple question about how they met.
Belichick then appeared on GMA last week sans Hudson but when host Michael Strahan asked Belichick what she means to him, the eight-time Super Bowl winning coach replied: “Well, we have a good personal relationship. And, you know, I’m not talking about personal relationships, Michael, you know that.”
Since they started dating, former Bridgewater State University cheerleader Hudson has taken on a very prominent role in his life, becoming his de-facto manager off the pitch.
Hudson competed in the Miss Maine pageant earlier this month where she came in third place following the drama surrounding Belichick’s CBS interview, which aired April 27, which prompted the brunette beauty to consider dropping out, Page Six previously reported.
The loss ruined her chances of competing in the Miss USA competition. The Hancock native came in second in the contest last year.
Belichick watched, stoic, from the front row both nights of the pageants and stayed with Hudson at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland where the pageant was held.
“Your’e at the Holiday Inn. That’s sad,” the second source told Page Six of Belichick’s presence at the pageant.
“People are judgey on this island – they’re judgey everywhere. People don’t find that sophisticated or interesting that you’re [competing to be] Miss Maine,” the source said of Hudson.
