In the final Please Don’t Destroy video for the season, the depressed trio were treated to a little vacation complete with first-class airline tickets courtesy of the finale’s host Scarlett Johansson. Ben Marshall, John Higgins and Martin Herlihy were enjoying the perks of first class alongside glam track suit-wearing Johansson — breaking into a song and dance — until she mentioned that they would be landing at Newark, the New Jersey airport whose recent air traffic control woes have been making national headlines.

The guys’ concerns were soon validated as the pilots of their plane couldn’t make contact with Newark and their navigation screens went black. In the shaking first-class cabin, emergency signs came on, with playing hands flashing next to the “no smoking” light.

“Looks like this is it guys. Anything to get off your chest?,” Herlihy yelled.

“This might sound corny but the only thing I regret is that Avengers didn’t make more money at the box office,” said Johansson, who played the Black Widow in the MCU.

Finally, an air traffic controller responded to the pilots’ pleas. Played by the episode’s musical guest Bad Bunny, he was brand new on the job but, with no one else around, he had to rely on manuals to guide the plane. Naturally, he broke into a song too, which seemed to help.

The sketch, which you can watch below, also skewered Please Don’t Destroy’s lower than usual output this season.

“You’re sad the season’s over, and you only did like 2 videos?,”Johansson asked them when she first walked into their room.

This season, the trio did 6 videos vs. 21 across the previous two seasons.
