It wasn’t too hot or sunny in most of SoCal on Saturday, but that didn’t stop some from going to local waterparks for their first days of the season.

One such park that welcomed guests for the first time this year is Raging Waters in San Dimas, which also introduced several new offerings for guests, including a new Mexican restaurant, Señor Solis.

“We’ve got tacos, burritos, bowls, queso corn, chips and guacamole…a little bit of everything that Southern Californians love,” Donald Spiller, Raging Waters Los Angeles General Manager, told KTLA.

It’s not just new food that parkgoers will be able to enjoy this summer, as Raging Waters added several more enhancements to the waterpark experience, such as:

  • Nearly 1,000 new and upgraded lockers
  • More shaded areas by the Aqua Rocket queue line and Dragon’s Den platform
  • More eco-conscious, water-saving turf areas
  • New extra-large VIP cabana
  • New birthday package ticket and meal deal for birthday groups of 15 or more people
  • New mobile app and self-service ticket kiosk

The 60-acre waterpark, dubbed California’s largest, has over 50 rides, slides and attractions that range from “mild to wild” and offer something for each member of the family.

You can buy tickets to Raging Waters Los Angeles here.

The park closes for the winter on September 28.
