The WNBA was taken by storm this past season with the influx of rookie talent. Starting with star guard Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever, the WNBA’s popularity has never been this high.

Clark won Rookie of the Year after a strong performance in her first season in the league. The former Iowa product burst onto the scene and is now one of the best players in the entire WNBA.
But fellow rookie Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky also performed very well in her first season. Reese set multiple records during her rookie year and has the city of Chicago buzzing.

The WNBA season began on Thursday, May 16.
Caitlin Clark Stats
During her rookie year, Clark averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 8.4 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game. Clark shot 34.4 percent from beyond the 3-point line this past season, showing her range from distance.
Clark made the All-Star team as a rookie, and she set a single-season league record for most assists with 337. The Fever guard also set a rookie playoff game record during her final game, scoring or assisting on 45 of her team’s points.
Angel Reese Stats
Reese was very effective in her rookie season, averaging 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game. The Sky forward shot 39.1 percent from the field during the year as well.
The former LSU product broke a single-season record for the WNBA, putting up the most rebounds in a year. Reese also made the All-Star team during her rookie year.
