As part of its “Grey Days” celebrations this year, New Balance joined forces with Foot Locker to host a sunrise run on Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach.

Embracing the togetherness and family aspect of the dedicated day, the event centered around an accessible 5K stretch that both independent runners and sports communities could take part in. Through uniting a variety of local runners, the retailer also paid homage to the “Run Your Way” philosophy, inviting the New Balance-affiliated Jumeirah Johns Run Club – also known as Dubai’s most social running club – to support and lead the group to the finish line.

With Dubai’s runners out in full force, they were later treated to a social breakfast at the recently opened Foot Locker The Beach store, complete with a DJ set and other tailored activations. The Fresh Foam Trainer and Fresh Foam 1080v14, seen on 200m gold medalist and New Balance global athlete Gabby Thomas in the 2025 New Balance “Grey Days” campaign, were also up for grabs for attendees to wear on their next run.

Check out how Foot Locker brought “Grey Days” to Dubai via the gallery above. To shop the New Balance “Grey Days” collection, head to Foot Locker’s website and regional stores now.
