Six years after the release of the campy cult-classic film A Simple Favor, the original cast—including Blake Lively, Anna Kendrick, Henry Golding, and Andrew Rannells—reunited for the sequel, Another Simple Favor, which is now streaming on Prime Video.
While plenty has changed for the actors in the intervening years, one thing that hasn’t is their friendship. Well, except that the circle got a little bit bigger with the addition of Italian actor Michele Morrone, who joined Another Simple Favor as Emily’s (Lively) love interest, Dante. Their characters might be a little (okay, a lot) unhinged, but the cast has a bond IRL that’s more than just cordial colleagues.
Still, Glamour decided to put that to the test in the latest installment of our video series, Friendship Test. Highlights from the 13-minute video include the revelation that Morrone is a bit of prankster (he not only convinced Blake Lively that his father had been eaten by a lion, but also misled Kendrick into believing that he’d been driving boats for his entire life), Rannells telling the camera that he met both Morrone and Golding on Grindr, and Morrone speaking Italian.
Watch below as the cast of Another Simple Favor compliments each other, chooses the character they’d most likely befriend in real life, and IDs the person who’s both the best at keeping secrets (Lively) and the worst (somehow also Lively?).
