SteelSeries has just dropped an “ultra-limited-edition”, orange-inspired colorway in its award-winning Arctis GameBuds.
The brand debuted its latest gaming earbuds last year and the new “Glorange” model joins the original “Black” and PS5-inspired “White” options that were available at launch.
Designed from the ground up and built around a custom-designed chipset, the Arctis GameBuds pack a host of features inspired by SteelSeries’ flagship pro-grade headsets. This includes dual connectivity options in Bluetooth 5.3 and an ultra-low-latency 2.4Ghz wireless, with the latter offering practically lag-free audio that takes the earbuds into competitive gaming territory – it’s also handy for Xbox and PS5 users, since both consoles lack Bluetooth audio support.
Switching between the two modes is as simple as a triple tap of the on-ear button, and SteelSeries has also designed the earbuds’ case as such that it doubles as a convenient storage place for the included 2.4Ghz USB-C dongle.
Other features found in the Arctis GameBuds include 10 hours of game time per charge, 360° spatial audio, active noise cancellation and over 200 game-specific audio presets that can be configured in the supporting mobile app.
The highly limited “Glorange” Arctis GameBuds can be purchased now via the SteelSeries website priced at £159.99 GBP / $159.99 USD.
