Scarlett Johansson had a surprising reaction to actor Justin Baldoni being name-dropped in her Vanity Fair interview amid his legal drama with Blake Lively.

During her sit-down, the “Black Widow” actress addressed making her directorial debut in the fall with “Eleanor the Great,” which is backed by Wayfarer Studios, a production company the “It Ends With Us” actor co-founded.

When the interviewer brought up Baldoni’s name, Johansson let out a “loud, knowing laugh” before praising his company.

“They were super supportive throughout the process,” she said of Wayfarer in her cover story chat with Vanity Fair published Wednesday.

“But yeah, such weird timing,” the Marvel star added, referring to Baldoni’s ongoing legal woes with Lively, who is currently married to Johansson’s first ex-husband, Ryan Reynolds. (Johansson was married to the “Deadpool” actor, 48, from 2008 to 2010.)

In the cover story, the outlet noted that Johansson, 40, never met Baldoni, 41, because he was busy making “It Ends With Us,” which is at the center of all of his legal issues.

In December, Lively, 37, filed a lawsuit against Baldoni for allegedly sexually harassing her on the set of their 2024 movie.

Baldoni denied Lively’s accusations and, in January, filed a $400 million suit against her, Reynolds and their publicist, Leslie Sloane, alleging defamation, extortion and more.

The couple’s pal Taylor Swift has been dragged into the legal war as well, as she was subpoenaed to testify in their upcoming trial, which is scheduled for March 2026.

A spokesperson for the pop star, 35, blasted the subpoena in a statement to Page Six, saying, “Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, she did not even see ‘It Ends With Us’ until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history.”

Swift’s legal team is now fighting the “Bad Blood” singer’s subpoena, explaining that Baldoni’s subpoena was “an abuse of the discovery process.”

Earlier this month, the philanthropic arm of Wayfarer Studios, the Wayfarer Foundation, announced it would be shutting down for undisclosed reasons as Baldoni fights to clear his name.
