Regional Mexican band Fuerza Regida is manifesting global domination with its ninth studio album, 111XPANTIA. Formed in 2015 by Jesús Ortíz Paz, Samuel Jáimez, Khrystian Ramos, José “Pelón” García, and Moisés López, Fuerza Regida marks their 10th anniversary by returning to their roots and optimistically looking towards the future.

111XPANTIA is the next step for Fuerza Regida, seeing the group manifest chart-topping success. The album has already made history on Billboard 200, landing at No. 2 alongside Bad Bunny and marking the first time two Spanish-language albums lead the chart.

From working with KidSuper to design an all-seeing album cover to experimenting “with banjo, heavier drums, and a whole new energy,” 111XPANTIA is a reflection of Fuerza Regida’s distinct vision.

After launching the album last week, we sat down with Fuerza Regida to discuss the creation of 111XPANTIA, the power of manifestation in music, and more.

How did the idea for 111XPANTIA come about?

Manifest it and make it happen. This album came from years of hard work and steady focus — all while manifesting the vision of going global. We just made our debut on a national late night show. We hit Paris for Fashion Week. We’re pushing forward and continuing to manifest even more.

What kind of sounds are you currently experimenting with?

For the first time ever, we brought a banjo into regional Mexican music – that’s never been done before. On past albums, we pushed boundaries by mixing the genre with house, reggaetón, and other new sounds. Even the deluxe versions had some experimental vibes. But with 111XPANTIA, we wanted to take it back to the roots – to that raw, original Fuerza – while still elevating the sound. We kept the esencia of música mexicana and made it hit like a movie with banjo, heavier drums, and a whole new energy.

The album is “a manifestation of the group’s vision, determination, and evolution.” How is this reflected in the songs?

We spent a lot of time in the studio for this one, and we’ve learned so much more about production and how to really create a mood. This album isn’t just music, it’s a whole atmosphere. Every element in the songs adds to that experience. From the way we dropped the album, to the shows across Latin America, to the massive shows at the Hollywood Bowl and Madison Square Garden — all of those ideas we’ve been manifesting since day one.

How do you showcase your Latin roots within the album?

We sing música mexicana, we love música mexicana — and I think the world underestimates the power of this genre. It’s about storytelling, about connecting deeply with your audience. We even sampled music from Vicente Fernández on one of the tracks — we’re proud of our roots.

What was your favorite part of making 111XPANTIA?

It wasn’t just about the music, it was about the creative process, too. We got to collaborate with KidSuper on this launch, and he exclusively designed the album cover and back cover for the physical CD and vinyl. We really wanted to push the boundaries of what we could do, both audio and visuals.

If you could choose your favorite song off the album, which one would it be?

We all have our favorites and sometimes we change it up but for now — JOP: They are all hits Moises: “GodFather” Khrys: “Ansiedad” Pelón: “Malboro Rojo”.

What final message are you looking to communicate with this album?

Manifestation. We wanted to drop an album that the fans would not only love, but one that shows them they can chase their dreams too. We want them to manifest that into reality. If we can make it, so can you.
