The St. Louis Battlehawks (4-2) need a win on Sunday to keep pace with the DC Defenders in the race for the XFL Conference title, which makes it a good time to go on the road to face a struggling Memphis Showboats (1-5) team.

In Week 6, the Battlehawks defeated the Arlington Renegades 12-6. Quarterback Max Duggan was 7-for-19 for 93 yards and a touchdown, connecting with Hakeem Butler on a 30-yard touchdown pass, the only one that either team scored. St. Louis’ other points came off a pair of Rodrigo Blankenship field goals as he connected from 49 and 53 yards.
Duggan added 49 rushing yards while Jacob Saylors led the team with 14 carries for 57 yards.
As for the Showboats, last week saw the team come close against the Roughnecks, losing by a single point, 21-20. Quarterback Dresser Winn was 22-for-34 for 207 yards with a touchdown and an interception, with Jay Jay Wilson catching the touchdown pass. Winn also rushed for a touchdown.
Dee Anderson led Memphis in receiving yards, catching five passes for 47 yards. He was targeted seven times. Deneric Prince added four catches for 38 yards.
