The Pacers took a commanding 2-0 lead on the road over a banged-up Cleveland team that was missing three of their best players, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and De’Andre Hunter. The trio returned in Game 3, as the top-seeded Cavaliers dominated Indiana for a 126-104 win, bringing the series to 2-1.
Donovan Mitchell put on an All-NBA performance in Game 3, with 43 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. Mitchell is capable of being the best player on the floor every time he suits up, and he reassured everyone that he is still the best player on either team in the series. There is still a lot of work to be done for the Cavaliers, but they are now headed in the right direction.
Tyrese Haliburton needs to bounce back in a hurry after only scoring four points in Game 3. If the Pacers’ point guard does not assert himself as a scorer on the offensive end, Indiana will have a tough time keeping up with Cleveland’s high-powered attack. Haliburton is a fantastic passer, but Indiana is at its best when he is also getting buckets on his own, on top of distributing.
This is a great NBA matchup that will not disappoint; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
