Moms do a lot—and this Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11, restaurants across the country are offering special promotions to help families and friends say thanks without breaking the bank.
From free entrees to discounted desserts, many chains are celebrating moms with limited time offers that run throughout the weekend. Whether picking up breakfast in bed or treating her out to dinner, here’s a full list of deals from national restaurant brands and platforms.
When Was Mother’s Day Established?
Mother’s Day became an official U.S. holiday in 1914. Congress passed a law declaring the second Sunday in May as Mother’s Day, and shortly after President Woodrow Wilson deemed it an official holiday. However, the holiday was recognized widely prior to the formality.
The holiday was created to give families a designated time to show appreciation to mothers, grandmothers, and maternal figures.
Restaurant and Food Deals
- KFC
Free delivery on digital orders on May 11, per a news release. In addition, select Benchmark hotels across the U.S. will be offering a package with a hotel stay, a KFC bathrobe, and a chicken and waffles meal. - Round Table Pizza
Heart-shaped pizzas are being sold, and shoppers can get 15 percent off with code RTP978, valid for dine-in, carry-out, and delivery until May 11 at participating locations. - Fazoli’s
Moms receive a free fettuccine alfredo or spaghetti dish with the purchase of any entrée. Use code Mother25 at participating locations until May 11. - Hurricane Grill & Wings
Free Bloody Mary with any entrée purchase of over $14.99 on May 11. The offer is only available at participating locations. - Native Grill & Wings

Royal Perks members get a free Whopper with the purchase of a King Jr. Meal on Mother’s Day only, per Yahoo. - McDonalds
The restaurant chain is currently offering two promotions nationwide, per an email from a Boden Agency spokesperson, that are available yearlong. One is a Buy One, Add One for $1 deal: foodies can get one item for just $1 after purchasing one breakfast item at full price. The second offer is through McDelivery only: If users spend $15, they get a free breakfast sandwich. - Tim Hortons
Tims Rewards members have access to two deals on May 11: Buy one donut, get one free; and buy 12 donuts, get six free. Rewards members need to activate the offer in their account before placing their order. - Denny’s
The breakfast giant is offering a deal for mom: $10 off $30 with the code MOMDAY on delivery or pick-up orders placed via app or online. Valid until May 11, per the restaurant’s website. - Panda Express
The chain launched a limited-edition family meal that feeds five, available for $30 with the code THANKSMOM, per People magazine. Also, customers who buy $30 or more in gift cards will get an extra $8 gift card. - Baskin Robbins
Ice cream cake, anyone? Baskin Robbins is offering $5 off cakes for Mother’s Day, priced over $30, through the BR App for rewards members. Two new Mother’s Day cakes have been launched—the Perfect Peony and the Strawberries ‘n’ Cream Cake. - Checkers
The fast-food chain is offering a $4 special combo on May 11 for Mother’s Day, with choice of one of two chicken sandwiches, a side of fries, a 12-oz. drink and an apple pie at participating location. - California Pizza Kitchen
Until May 12, foodies can get a heart-shaped pizza on thin crust, and until May 11, can grab berry sangrias for $8. - Auntie Anne’s
Rewards members can get $10 in rewards when members spend $30 or more on gift cards or eGift cards through May 11. - Cracker Barrel
Until May 11, Cracker Barrel Rewards members can get $15 off a purchase of $50 or more for dine-in meals or in-store purchases. The deal does not apply to gift cards, alcohol or to-go orders. - DoorDash (May 9–11)
