Ally Lewber credits Scheana Shay for helping her see the light with Lisa Vanderpump.
During an exclusive interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea,” Lewber, 29, recounts a vulnerable phone call with Vanderpump, 64, about her ex James Kennedy — and how 40-year-old Shay’s input made her reassess the situation.
“I’m not hating on myself right now when I say this about me: I’m very impressionable,” she begins. “I trust [Vanderpump]. I’m like, ‘You’re really smart.’ … I trust her for the most part.”
The astrologer — who recently launched a new podcast called “StarStruck with Ally Lewber” — notes that Vanderpump is a Virgo and therefore gives the restaurateur grace for defending Kennedy, 33, even after the DJ was arrested for suspicion of domestic violence in December 2024.
“She is a Virgo. She’s very articulate. She’s so well-spoken,” Lewber says of her chat with Vanderpump, who allegedly tried convincing her to stick it out with Kennedy.
“Like, it’s frickin’ Lisa Vanderpump. So when she calls you and she’s making you laugh but also kind of making sense, I’m like, ‘Is she right? Did I make a wrong choice?’”
The former “Vanderpump Rules” co-stars broke up in January after nearly three years of dating.
Following her talk with Vanderpump, though, Lewber felt confused about her decision to call it quits.
That’s when she contacted Shay, a close pal and solid source of support for the Ohio native.
“I called Scheana after, and she was like, ‘No, you were just manipulated, and also that was really wrong of her to do,’” she says. “And I was like, ‘OK, yeah, you’re right.’ I had to literally sit back and [ask], ‘What?’”
Lewber revealed in an Instagram Story post on Jan. 22 that she had split from Kennedy — after his attorney, Scott Leemon, confirmed the Burbank City Attorney’s Office would not be filing charges against the reality TV star in relation to his arrest the previous month.
“Thank you for all your support and kindness,” Lewber wrote at the time. “I am happy that prosecutors decided not to file against James as I never desired criminal charges. We had an argument outside of his home related to him drinking again, however, I was not physically hurt.”
The “Girls’ Girl” singer admitted she was “shocked by the headlines and disheartened by how the event was portrayed.”
Despite the breakup, Lewber wrote that she will “always support” Kennedy while also wishing him “the best” in his personal healing and sobriety journey.
Lewber tells “Virtual Reali-Tea” that, although she is no longer in contact with Kennedy, both she and Vanderpump want the best for him.
“I think she genuinely has so much love for James, and that’s why I felt for her — because I get it. I don’t want him to suffer either,” she says before acknowledging once more how the stars could play a part in Vanderpump’s behavior.
“I will say with [Vanderpump being a] Virgo and the helping of it all, I really do think Lisa genuinely wants to help as best as she can.”
“Vanderpump Rules” is in the midst of filming a reboot with an entirely new cast of characters working for Vanderpump.
