The Los Angeles Dodgers’ injury woes continued on Wednesday, as the team placed right-handed reliever Evan Phillips on the injured list with right forearm discomfort.
Phillips, who began the season on the injured list recovering from a right shoulder injury, is now right back on the IL after appearing in just seven games for the Dodgers this year.

Phillips hadn’t allowed a run in his 5.2 innings of work. Now, he’ll be out for at least the next two weeks.
The Dodgers have been ravaged by injuries this season, especially to their pitching staff.
Two of the team’s highest-paid pitchers in Tyler Glasnow and Blake Snell are on the injured list. Shohei Ohtani hasn’t returned to pitching yet, and many of the team’s best relievers from a year ago in Blake Treinen, Michael Kopech, and now Phillips are on the shelf.
The Dodgers currently lead the league in bullpen innings by far, and are continuing to shuffle through relievers early this season.
Here’s an updated look at the Dodgers’ pitchers currently on the injured list (or in Ohtani’s case, just not pitching):
