She brought the swamp to New York.
Lana Del Rey paid tribute to her new husband and alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene, whom she tied the knot to in September, accessorizing her Met Gala 2025 red carpet look with gold gator-shaped hair clips.
The “Summertime Sadness” singer, 39, placed one pin near her right ear and the second on the back of her curly updo, which was created by hairstylist Anna Cofone.
Del Rey’s stylist, Molly Dickson, shared a closer look at the sleek gold clips on her Instagram Story, tagging Louisiana-based accessories brand Relic Room.
Del Rey — who was born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant — balanced the playful hair pieces with a polished black velvet and brown satin Valentino Haute Couture gown designed by creative director Alessandro Michele, who joined her on the red carpet.
An oversized black bow and gigantic feather took the dress to the next level. She rounded out the look with gold knot-shaped Jennifer Zeuner earrings ($155).
Ahead of the ball, Del Rey shared a photo kissing Dufrene on her Instagram, giving a sneak peek at her outfit.
Del Rey and Dufrene said “I do” at an intimate ceremony in Des Allemandes, Louisiana, after roughly five months of dating.
And though she’s clearly no stranger to a lavish designer gown, Del Rey decided to thrift her bridal look.
According to TMZ, the musician sourced the dainty lace-adorned dress from Vintage Market by Trashy Diva in New Orleans.
The couple have reportedly known each other for years; however, they didn’t spark dating rumors until August 2024, when a video of the two holding hands at an outdoor music event was shared on TikTok.
They were seen holding hands again while out in New York on Sept. 7, just weeks before getting married.
Perhaps next year her bayou bae will join her on the red carpet.
