Gigi Hadid revealed she spent the morning of the 2025 Met Gala cozied up with her boyfriend, Bradley Cooper, before arriving at the star-studded event.
On Monday, the model stopped on the blue carpet to chat with Emma Chamberlain for Vogue and discussed how she prepared for the fashion event of the year.
“I woke up, I was with my man. We had a chill morning with some laughs,” she said, per a video shared via TikTok.
Hadid, 30, continued, “Then I went to my house, had an hour by myself, then took a shower, had my fitting, had chicken fingers and fries, then got into glam.”
“I think like, a little protein in the form of fried chicken helps take down the jitters a little bit,” she quipped.
The Victoria’s Secret model turned heads in a gold halter dress with multicolored beads from Miu Miu.
The elegant gown featured a long train and drop-waist, complementing the event’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”
She topped off her eye-catching ensemble with silver and gold earrings and styled her blond locks in pin-up-style rolls.
Hadid’s look was inspired by a dress once worn by Josephine Baker, who made history in 1951 as the first black actress to play a role in a major film.
Cooper, however, notably opted out of attending the gala after celebrating his partner’s birthday last month.
The “A Star is Born” star, 50, and Hadid have been romantically linked since October 2023, when they were spotted at Via Carota in New York City.
They confirmed their whirlwind romance in January 2024 when they were photographed holding hands in London.
Hadid raved over her relationship with Cooper during an interview with Vogue in March.
“He gives so much to me: encouragement and, just, belief,” she gushed. “For those people you admire to encourage you, it can create so much belief in yourself. Like, what’s the worst thing if I auditioned for this?”
The “Next in Fashion” co-host took her relationship with the actor Instagram-official with a steamy kissing PDA snap earlier this month.
