Connie Britton’s new reality show, “The Motherhood,” can be best described as “Queer Eye” for single mothers.

“That could be a very helpful, concise description,” the actress told Page Six exclusively Thursday at a luncheon celebrating the Hallmark Channel series, which premieres May 5.

Both shows are helmed by the same company, Scout Productions.

“I thought that was such a great formula for the story I wanted to tell, and they are truly the reason why this show is as wonderful as it is,” Britton explained of the producers.

The “Friday Night Lights” star, 58, admitted she doesn’t watch a lot of reality TV but does like “Queer Eye,” which sees five experts give people makeovers, because “there was something about it that resonated with me, that I want from entertainment.”

“The Motherhood” follows a different single mom each episode.

Together with three experts, dubbed “The Neighbor Ladies,” Britton chats with the moms about their individual challenges and helps come up with a support plan.

The “White Lotus” alum, who has been dating producer David Windsor since 2019, first came up with the idea for the series many years ago after adopting her son, Yoby, now 14, from Ethiopia when she was single.

“I became a mom and then immediately moved to Nashville to shoot the show ‘Nashville,’” she shared, adding that she “didn’t have any support system there at all.”

Britton warned viewers that “The Motherhood” is highly emotional.

“I defy anyone to get through an episode without laughing or crying,” she teased, “because I believe those things are essential to capture who we are as human beings and also capturing our stories and our unity.”

The Emmy nominee is celebrating her third decade in the industry this year, but she finds it “weird” that there is one job she has yet to be offered: endorsing a haircare line.

“Would you please put that in?” she asked us.

“It needs to happen, come on!” Britton, who is just as known for her luxurious red hair as her lengthy career, implored with a laugh.

Other stars at the luncheon at Glasshouse on the Park in New York City included Mariska Hargitay, Padma Lakshmi, Camryn Manheim, Rosanna Arquette and Carla Gugino.
