Officials arrived at the gruesome scene around 3 p.m., where they found the feline corpses inside a freezer and strewn around the Bohemia home, the Bohemia Fire Department told The Post.

The Suffolk County SPCA initially reported a possible ammonia leak around 2 p.m., officials said, noting they were told close to 100 dead cats were inside the Westminster Drive home.

It was not immediately clear how many cats were found or if the residence was occupied.

The house has since been condemned due to the noxious smell and condition.
