Name: fragment design x Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Varsity Red/Sport Royal” (speculative mock-up pictured above)
Colorway: Black/White/Varsity Red/Sport Royal
SKU: IO7847-002
MSRP: TBC
Release Date: Spring 2026
Where to Buy: Nike

When we first reported on a rumored fragment design x Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High OG collaboration last year, it was a headline that felt a bit too good to be true. Now, just over half a year later, the new partnership is not only real, but bigger than we could’ve ever anticipated.

Starting with a remix of fragment design’s 2014 collab, we later saw a black and white rendition on the feet of Hiroshi Fujiwara. According to a new report from SneakerMarketRO and brandon1an, a third “Varsity Red/Sport Royal” version will be dropping in early 2026. We lack actual pictures of the shoe, however, this time the duo is confident that the color blocking of its speculative mock-up is close to what will be delivered. Look out for the aforementioned red and blue hues to be accompanied by “Black” and “White” to create a familiar yet distinct look that sees fragment design’s thunderbolt logo at the lateral heel and Union LA’s Frankenstein-d collar make a return too.

At the time of writing, neither fragment design, Union LA, nor Jordan Brand have indicated that a third pair of Air Jordan 1 High OGs is on the way next year. Stay tuned for updates, including a first look at this rumored “Varsity Red/Sport Royal” colorway, as we currently expect it to drop next spring via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
