Summary

  • The Row reveals curated vintage furniture line online
  • The notoriously elusive brand from debuted their homeware collectin during Milan Design Week
  • The furniture line includes pieces from Charlotte Perriand, Louis Sognot and more

In the most The Row way possible, the luxury brand from Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen has very quietly dropped its curated vintage furniture line.

Those with a keen eye will find a new sub-page titled “Galerie” on The Row’s website, where it reveals a selection of homeware pieces. In early April, The Row launched its first homeware collection in Milan. The famously discreet brand revealed an intimate and pared-back presentation of handwoven cashmere blankets, quilted bedding sets and more. The brand has now taken their elusiveness one step further, dropping a selection of vintage furniture pieces on their website.

The Row aesthetic remains the center of the curation. When The Row opened their first flagship store in Paris, much could be said about the interiors which saw the Olsen twins be meticulously detailed with every corner of the room, down to the Lilou Marquand-designed blinds. Those who have stepped into The Row store in Paris would find that each room relied heavily on the furniture to accent and complete the twins’ vision. Two wooden Traineau chairs by Victor Courtray from 1940 comes to mind, mixed with a black 1955 Georges Jouve coffee table. Other custom-built seating that gives a node to California can be felt through the 1930 coffee table by Michel Dufet.

In their own line of curated vintage furniture now online, The Row has revealed a Charlotte Perriand Cansado Table from 1958. Other 20th-century pieces include the Guillerme et Chambron pair of armchairs from 1960, Louis Sognot’s round wood and metal side table from 1930 and a Pierre Dariel foldable chair from 1934. Take a look at The Row’s curated selection here.
