- Elsehwere, Oakley offers two new inline Flesh Sandal variants and a new Chop Saw Boot colorway.
Oakley Factory Team has unveiled its next footwear capsule, which introduces a collaboration with SOUTH2 WEST8 inspired by the Japanese brand’s outdoor roots. The Oakley design lab run by the minds at Brain Dead also unveils three new colorways for the Flesh Sandal and the Chop Saw Boot cast in earthen hues.
The SOUTH2 WEST8 Flesh Sandal stands out against the largely solid-colored capsule, utilizing a camouflage mesh, much like the various camouflage patterns used in the label’s apparel. The tonal green pattern is contrasted with black leather overlays finished with a perforated texture. A final touch calls out the collab with SOUTH2 WEST8’s recognizable green logo printed on the pull tab. Two other Flesh Sandal colorways include an all-black suede variant and an olive green/gray pair accented by a red pull tab.
Finally, Oakley Factory Team’s Chop Saw Boot is offered in hairy beuge suede throughout the uppers an the tongue. For subtle color accents green pull tabs and maroon laces evoke natural hues of the forest.
The SS25 capsule is set for release in Japan on May 6, at Oakley’s Shibuya store and at the Oakley Japan web store.
