Bridget Fonda and her husband, Danny Elfman, were spotted for the first time in 16 years, proving that time has only made them closer.
The famed actress, who retired from Hollywood in 2002, was photographed with the composer as they returned to their Los Angeles home on Monday from a trip.
The two could be seen talking to a contractor who was renovating their garage.
For the outing, Fonda, 61, wore a black coat over a white T-shirt with black pants. She completed her look with a silk scarf wrapped around her neck, a red crossbody bag and a bigger purse slung over her shoulder.
Meanwhile, Elfman, 71, rocked black sweatpants with a black-and-gray baseball shirt that partially covered his arm tattoos. He kept his wavy ginger hair out of his face with a black hat.
This is the first time that the couple, who married in 2003, have been photographed since 2009, as they tend to keep their relationship private.
After suffering a spinal injury in a car crash, the “Godfather Part III” actress took a step back from the spotlight to focus on raising their son, Oliver, now 20.
In 2023, she told a paparazzo that she would not return to acting because it was “too nice being a civilian.”
Although she has been seen sporadically through the years, Fonda was thrust back into the limelight in 2017 when Elfman was accused of sexual harassment.
At the time, fellow composer Nomi Abadi claimed Elfman had stripped down and masturbated in front of her from 2015 to 2016. Although he denied the claims, the parties settled for $830,000, and he sued her for defamation last year.
In 2023, a second woman accused the Grammy winner of getting naked in front of her several times and touching himself while she slept next to him between 1997 and 2002.
The anonymous accuser sued Elfman for gender violence, negligence, sexual harassment, sexual assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
His spokesperson told the Hollywood Reporter at the time, “The allegations of misconduct made against Mr. Elfman are baseless and absurd.”
An LA judge dismissed the suit last year, saying the plaintiff had “provided only speculative statements.”
Fonda remained by Elfman’s side throughout his legal problems — and even flaunted her wedding band during Monday’s outing.
