As seen on his Paris runway presentation last summer, Kiko Kostadinov’s SS25 line was packed full of concealing headwear from colorful neck gaiters to hooded balaclavas — but his New Era caps are only a recent addition. The headwear purveyor and Kostadinov have teamed up to reprise custom fabrics from the Bulgarian designer’s collection shown in Paris last June in a capsule of casual hats. Comprising three styles with distinct textural variation, the versatile range offers a small piece of the designer’s creative process in wearable form.

A pinstripe cotton hat, made of the same fabric as the closing looks of Kostadinov’s SS25 presentation, is the boldest style in the lineup. To complement shades of green utilized in the intersecting stripes, neon green embroidery showcases a K monogram and the brand’s collection numbering, “00182025.”

The brand callouts are also present on a tan herringbone wool hat with white embroidery and a speckled jacquard weave hat with contrast stitching.  In the original collection, the herringbone fabric was applied to futuristic tailoring, while the custom Italian jacquard was seen on asymmetrical coats and blousons.

The Japan-exclusive capsule is set for release on May 3 via KIKO KOSTADINOV TOKYO and Dover Street Market Ginza.
