EXCLUSIVE: Echo Lake Entertainment has signed Shortest Blockbusters, a top digital content creator in the horror space. The goal will be to help the company expand into film and television, leveraging its original content, while further expanding its branding business and helping them to unlock other new opportunities.

Leading animation creator Shortest Blockbusters has an engaged audience of 20 million followers across social media and over 5.5 billion organic views. Launched in 2020, its specific expertise has led to successful promotional campaigns with major studios including Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures, Blizzard Studios and Kingsgroup Games for titles such as Scream VI, A Quiet Place: Day One, Candyman, The Black Phone, Halloween Kills, Insidious: The Red Door, Thanksgiving, State of Survival x The Walking Dead, and Diablo Immortal.

The creator of the channel, who boasts over 25 years of experience in animation, chooses to remain anonymous. However, they told Deadline, “I started Shortest Blockbusters to bring terrifying and chilling stories to audiences in a new way. Reaching billions of viewers with my shorts has been incredibly rewarding and a testament to the power of engaging and entertaining horror content. I am thrilled to partner with Echo Lake to continue delivering these immersive experiences to horror fans around the world.”

Said Adam Riback and Amotz Zakai of Echo Lake, “Shortest Blockbusters is a singularly talented creator who has built a loyal and engaged following of horror fans around the world. We couldn’t be more excited to team up and help expand this already acclaimed and proven brand.”
