Disneyland guests who frequent the pathway between Avengers Campus and Cars Land in DCA to access either land will soon have to find a different route.
Disneyland officials confirmed to Nexstar’s Scott Gustin that the walkway between the two themed areas will close on Tuesday as construction begins in the area.
Nexstar is the parent company of KTLA 5 News.
“The walkway is expected to remain closed until next summer while crews build a new restroom facility and other construction continues on the Avengers Campus expansion,” Gustin posted on X.
The Avengers Campus expansion will see the addition of two new attractions, Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab.
On Avengers Infinity Defense, guests will be enlisted to fight alongside the Avengers in an epic battle against King Thanos. Visitors will team up with heroes like Black Panther, Ant-Man and Hulk as they travel through multiple dimensions to save the universe.
In Stark Flight Lab, guests will sit in “gyro-kinetic pods” and roll along a track before stopping in front of a giant robot arm. This robot arm will hoist visitors into the air, making several high-speed maneuvers inspired by Iron Man and some other Avengers.
An opening date for the attractions hasn’t been announced.
