Kendrick Lamar has already set a new tour record for the first night of his and SZA‘s ongoing “Grand National Tour.”

Touring Data revealed that the duo’s opening night at Bank Stadium in Minneapolis grossed a total revenue of $9,124,989 USD. That number comes from 47,354 tickets (100%) sold at an average price of $192.70 USD. This pushes Dot to become the first rapper in history to gross more than $9 million USD from a single show as either a headliner or co-headliner; he breaks Eminem‘s 2019 record that saw him gross $ 8,708,390 USD from a concert in Melbourne.

In addition, the Bank Stadium show also marks Lamar and SZA’s most-attended concert of all time.

The “Grand National Tour” will see the duo perform across North America until June, and then Europe and the UK in the summer.

.@kendricklamar is officially the first rapper in history to gross over $9 million in a single concert as headlining or co-headlining artist, breaking @Eminem‘s 2019 record in Melbourne.
