ABC News announced today it will air an exclusive primetime interview with President Donald Trump Tuesday, marking his 100th day in office.

ABC News Senior national correspondent Terry Moran will conduct the interview in the Oval Office, which will air as a primetime special, President Trump the First 100 Days: The Interview in the Oval Office on Tuesday, April 29, at 8 p.m. EDT/7 p.m. CDT on ABC. The sit-down will stream on ABC News Live, Hulu and Disney+ later that evening.

To accommodate the special programming, ABC’s hit political drama Will Trent, which normally airs at 8 pm EDT, will instead air from 9-10 pm, followed by The Rookie, which normally airs at 9 pm EDT, at 10 pm EDT.

Trump is facing challenges as he approaches his 100th day in office. He has earned praise from supporters on immigration and tariffs to try to bring manufacturing back to the U.S., as well as trying to broker peace in the three-year Russia-Ukraine war. But he has come under fire on other fronts, including his handling of the economy and immigration policies.

The latest ABCNews/Washington Post/Ipsos finds 39% of respondents approve of the way Trump is handling his job as president, while 55% disaprove. A CNN poll conducted by SSRS and released on Sunday, ranks Trump slightly higher, at 41%. The previous low in approval for a president at or near 100 days in office, in polls dating to 1945, was Trump’s 42% in 2017.

NewsNation also will be hosting a Town Hall with Trump on Wednesday, April 30. Cuomo Town Hall: The First 100 Days will air at 8 pm EDT. Moderated by anchor Chris Cuomo, along with authors and commentators Bill O’Reilly and Stephen A. Smith, the town hall will include a live phone interview with the President. The town hall will be simulcast live and free on Newsnationnow.com, the NewsNation app, and on the NewsNation YouTube channel
