Anna Camp had one important question to ask after she got cast as twins in Season 5 of “You.”
“As soon as I got the call, I said, ‘Well, I’m going to have to learn double the lines, will I get double the money?’” she laughingly told Page Six exclusively at the Netflix show’s New York City premiere on Wednesday.
“They said, ‘No,’ but I did ask. I had to ask!”
The actress, 42, plays identical twins, Raegan and Maddie Lockwood, in the series that first premiered in 2018 and stars “Gossip Girl” alum Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg, a charming serial killer.
Camp shared that over the years, she’s seen actors play dual roles and was thrilled to finally get the chance.
“Just to finally be on set and learn both sets of lines and get both hair and makeup done and both wardrobe changes — I mean, it was something that was really exciting for me, a challenge,” she enthused.
The “Pitch Perfect” alum confessed that when she finally “got to watch the scene when I was talking to myself, I was like, ‘Okay!’ I was a little proud of myself.”
Camp couldn’t decide which twin was more fun to play — nasty Raegan or the sweet Maddie — calling them “both very fun in their own ways.”
Other celebrities at the premiere included the show’s star, Penn Badgley, who brought along his pregnant wife, Domino Kirke, Charlotte Ritchie and Madeline Brewer, who can also be seen in “The Handmaid’s Tale.”
Pete Ploszek, who plays the dimwitted Harrison, married to evil Raegan, laughed when Page Six asked if he “drew from personal experience to play” such an idiotic character.
“Maybe,” he joked.
The fifth and final season of “You,” which dropped on Thursday, is now available to stream on Netflix.
